CeraVe Moisturizing Cream is best for atopic dermatitis patients.
I have been applying Curel creams, particularly the Ultra Healing flavour, for a long period, and I have suggested those to other eczema afflicted individuals as it has been the only real cream that has maintained my skin moisturized nicely and devoid of soreness in any way. Keri lotion was really thick, did not possess a nice smell, and inflammed my skin. Aveeno and Lubriderm constantly sensed quite thin for lotions and failed to moisturize adequately, for me.
I experienced a recent break out of my eczema lately, and my skin doctor highly advised applying Cerave Moisturizing cream on places that have calmed down significantly being a maintainance cream. Soon after being switched off by 2 brandnames of moisturising products, I must point out here is the greatest from the 3 I have used! The truth is, I have been applying this to moisturize my body after a warm shower over my Curel ointment, and it has proved really helpful.
The other moistrurizing products I've applied were Eucerin and Vanicream.
- Eucerin was really thick.
- Vanicream was pretty drippy, I might say, and it had an unusual odor, failed to take in nicely, and did not moisturize perfectly, I believe.
- Cerave's uniformity was just proper to me. At very first glimpse, I was thinking it could be quite runny, but after sinking my fingers in, the cream was very uniform and did not run. A breeze to use.
The sole thing I've observed, personally, is that I have to use it twice daily. Yet I've got a fairly serious persistent case of atopic dermatitis, thus that would sound right. It's moisturizing sufficient in the beginning to match most individuals trouble spots, I would think.

- This stuff is incredible.
My 3 yr old boy has major ezcema. This summer time it was extremely bad it was almost everywhere and he was itching himself consistently. In just full week of employing CeraVe moisturizing cream it was manageable and 2 weeks later it's nearly totally eliminated. I've began applying this on my dried-out skin (particularly my free-of-moisture feet). It is certainly remarkable how it is absorbed and looks like it actually adjusts the skin. Consequently grateful to the dermatologist proposed this.
- Really helps to fight my frustrating seborrheic dermatitisÂ
I have been searching for an excellent moisturizer to go together with ZNP bar that I make use of for my seborrheic dermatitis. The ZNP performs like a dream but simply leaves my skin dried up. After buying Cerave at the nearby pharmacy, I no more awaken with dry skin. Every other moisturizing solution results in my skin inflammed and reddish.
- Quite Decent with one exclusionÂ
I am quite athletic and I go swimming frequently. I would point out an hour or so after applying CeraVe Moisturizing cream, my skin is quite slippery. While leaving a swimming pool holding onto the rail or climbing out, my legs and hands had me fall back into the pool. I see that the material certainly keeps moisture but I wouldn't believe this stuff works as a water-proof kind of cream. Anyway, it's hypersensitive to eczema skin and does let it rest fresh and soft without irritations. Recommended if you are not a swimmer :)
- Cutemol Emollient Cream
- My skin doctor suggested Cutemol Emollient Skin Cream. In the event that winters are terrible, my hands often crack and bleed. The cream went a long shot and shielded my hands out of these unpleasant cracks....
